The special qualities about Catalina Vista are the long-standing connections with the University Medical Center (Banner Medical), University of Arizona and the Arizona Inn. Blocks from each of these important employers, generations of families have lived and stayed in the neighborhood. Neighborhood parks are an easy walk and well attended.
Homes are generally on larger lots and while there are some smaller homes, most are larger than 2000 square feet. Many have guest houses. Styles are varied and unique from burnt adobe territorial style, brick ranch style, Spanish Mediterranean, Moorish influences and midcentury modern. There are even 60’s and 70’s contemporary homes in the eclectic mix.
